Let me know what you think!

I am really getting into this now and would like some input if possible. I guess this was the safest way to play with fire.

I am trying to get the Text effects down since that will be a big factor in any designs I do.

The type is difficult to read, but I like the flame effects on the sleeve.

Ya the text is giving me the most trouble right now. I think it has a lot to do with me still learning the techniques that each tool can do. I was aiming for this look right here but I guess the text size and I should have copied the upper half of the image like in the "one Team" and used that for the rest. I did fall in love with the flame affect on the arms I will for sure be play with that and electrical and ice effects a lot now.

Nice! I think if you change the opacity settings on the red in the back it'd help with legibility.

It's all about contrast to make type legible and readable. The example you linked uses a light stroke and a darker fill to make the letters pop from the very dark background.

After messing with opacity and contrast I see what you mean about the difference it can make. Really gave me a definition of the lines. At first they looked blurred like the clouds on the sides.

Also, the kerning on Blood should be changed to separate the letters a little better and more legible.
