You know, we haven't done much of a game that involves outright ramming since the new physics came out. It's high time we fix that. So....by request, Freeze Tag's happening this weekend!

Similar to the kids' game, one person in a higher tier tank attempts to ram opponents on the other side, freezing them in place. The team can attempt to unfreeze them by either ram tapping or by shooting. Prizes will be handed out randomly or, depending on how the event goes, for best.....something.

We'll start at the usual time of 8 PM EST, and will have 2 prizes to give out.

Raffle numbers this week are 1-30. Have fun! I'll announce last week's raffle winner tomorrow!

You guys tested it, you guys liked it, and now it's official! Your random duels have finally made it to DBF, branded under a new (and admittedly hokey) name. And yes, this is one fight club you CAN talk about.

So what is this new event exactly? Simple - everyone selects a common tier tank and joins in a training room. On our duel map, participants are randomly chosen for fights. Two go in, one comes out. The winners are safe for a time before their name is called again in the next round. As the wrecks pile up, it gets more fun, and at the end, there's only one left standing. Whoever that person is, they win a prize. Let's not forget, though, there's two full rounds of this, since we have two prizes to give away.

We'll start at 8 PM EST, so be sure to bring your favorite beverage and join us on TeamSpeak for the fun!

Oh. Our forum raffle. Numbers are 50-80 this week, folks.

Congrats to Cyborg for winning last week's raffle!

Sorry about the lateness of this one, guys. This is coming off of a caffeine-induced study session for my LP and Gas Certification test tomorrow. So, with the tournament going on this weekend, we're going to be doing simple stuff - Drop-Ins. And it's NOT at our usual time.

This week (and this week only), DBF starts at 7:30 PM EST. Had to move it a bit forward for the tourney.

As always, 2 prizes for the event. Raffle numbers this week are 27-66. Will announce a winner for last week's raffle tomorrow. Have fun!

Wait. Is it really Friday again already? It sure didn't feel like a long week. O_o

Anyways, DBF. Yes. That thing. So this week, we're going to be doing Death Races. For those that don't know, it's probably exactly what you're thinking. We get into fast tier 2-3 tanks, race around a map, there's some random surprises, and people die. Yeah....I think that about does it. Well, the short version anyways. The expanded version sounds about like this:

Everyone joins in a training room and most have tier 2-3 light tanks (the faster the better). They will race a predetermined circuit around the map. Maps will be provided just before the event, and a pace-tank will lead them around once so there's no confusion. Seems simple, right? Not quite. You see, on the other team, you have a Director (usually myself or another DBF assistant [still looking for some more, by the way]) and a handful of....well, let's just say these guys are out to throw random stuff in your faces to make your race as difficult as possible. This could be either by saying "ok, these select racers can shoot for a short time" or by acting like semi-dumb turrets in the racetrack to just being a nuisance to everyone. And you wanna know the best part? There's 4 rounds of this madness! Yes, people will die. Yes, it can be either rage-inducing or rib-crushingly hilarious. No, popcorn is not included - that costs extra. and yes, before you say it, yes LowBridge, this is one of my more thought out posts in a while. Shut up.

There will be two prizes for it, and they will be given to whomever comes in first and second overall. We have a point system for that, so don't you worry. And for those of you who can't make it, we have a decal for our forum raffle (numbers 1-40 this time, folks).

Also, congrats to Lothior for winning last week's forum raffle!

......you can stop judging me now, LowBridge.

Well, I ended up getting home tonight from work a LOT later than I had expected, so I wasn't able to plan out a great event for you. So I think the best idea in this case would be to let you guys decide what you feel up to doing. Whatever you decide on when DBF starts, we'll do that. Sounds good?

We'll start at 8 PM EST, by the way. 2 prizes plus a raffle here, as is the usual.

    Numbers 82-107. Yeh.

Congrats to Chuckluss for winning last week's raffle!

Yup. Still working on my electrical certification. But a late post is better than no post. Anyways, we're gonna do fox hunt tomorrow. How's it work? Well, have *another* shameless copy-paste. =D

One player picks a tank to run and hide in. A minute later, an entire team of tanks that are, on average, two tiers higher go to chase him/her. The fox isn't defenseless though. It can shoot back. Prizes are given out based on who can survive the longest.

As usual, we'll start at 8 PM EST.

Also, our usual raffle is happening. Numbers 1-30.

    OK, here's my raffle backlog.

Congrats to Noble for winning the 2/12 raffle!!!

Congrats to MadDogBlack for winning the 2/19 raffle!!!

Sorry about such a late post. I started my new job this week, and I'm currently stuck in classes from 8-5 for this week to earn a certification, so.....yeah.....

We'll start at 8 PM EST, as usual, and have 2 prizes for the event. Plus our usual raffle (numbers 65-95 this time, folks).

.....I'll post our raffle winner in the morning when I'm not so dog-tired.
